While Zoopla's House Price Index showed that overall house prices in England have decreased by 1.1% over the past 12 months, the favourite second home hotspots have had mixed fortunes.
One of the most popular areas, South Hams in Devon, has seen the largest fall in prices of 3.37% or nearly £12,500 of the average property value.
The Isle of Wight performed better, seeing the average property price rise 1.81% to £201,141.
